Mario's Pizza

Decent “drunk” pizza. Too greasy (look at the picture), a lot of flop, no structure, undercarriage needs more time in the oven. The cheese to sauce ratio is off, not enough sauce or too much cheese, in my opinion not enough sauce. There is no char to speak of and the slices are a bit too large. All that being said, the taste is not too bad although I caution you to eat while it is hot, definitely got worse as it got colder. A pizza this thin, which is good, needs to be crisp which is non existent here. If the slices were just a bit smaller, maybe a 16-18 inch pie not 24, and if it was cooked for 45 seconds longer and an ounce more sauce this pizza could be in the high sixes. As it stands you will like this if you are drunk and don’t care.

Too much cheese, too little sauce. Crust is bland

Went to get a couple of slices for lunch today at Marios. One sausage and one pepperoni. Sausage slice was soggy and floppy. The pepperoni slice was better, nice crisp on the crust but very greasy.

Good crunch on the crust, tangy sauce, good toppings. Usually just get a slice which is very good. The texture on the whole pie crust was different.

Greasy kind of bland sauce crust is ok. It filled a void. Not a toss away but wouldn’t go out of my way to eat it again.
