Martio's Pizza

The regular slice is solid, but not spectacular by any means. I’m disappointed after hearing so much about this place but it’s not going to let you down if all you want is a solid Ny slice. A little greasy, not enough crisp and the sauce is fine. The Sicilian slice was pretty bad, just a complete limp flop, which should be illegal with a Sicilian slice. Didn’t get much taste from the cheese and sauce either. I averaged both my scores and came up with 7.2 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Up there for the best pizza in Rockland. If Portnoy was coming to Rockland and I had to recommend one place I would say here

Been going for 30 plus years and it’s been consistently good .thin crunchy crust , uniquely flavorful sauce . Nothing like it in the area.

Plain Pie was scored at: 8.6 Brick Oven Persional Pie:.. it’s a 8.9 Phenomenal pizza! I’ve lived in Rockland most of my life and always heard how good Martio’s is just never went.Next level not only for the area but all round. The sauce is a game changer. My mistake for not getting here sooner.

All you have to say is please make it well done and you will have yourself a fine pizza experience.

So I ordered two slices and this happened to be the more aesthetically pleasing of the two. I’ve never experienced so much flop on, I had to pack it in like a snowball in order to consume this miserable excuse for a slice. Flavor was okay, but when you have that much flop it doesn’t matter how great it taste. I will never eat from this subpar establishment.

Very good pizza. Love the old school/old fashion atmosphere. A bit of a New York flop, my go -to pizza in the Nanuet area.

To me the best part was the crust, it was crispy. It was bit oily, not too much. Sauce was ok, cheese was so so, I liked it overall. This pizza was from the regular oven, they have wood fire/brick oven pizza but they said it’s for personal pizzas.

Yeah this is a good pie.
