Mater's Pizza And Pasta Emporium

I ate at the original Mater’s in Gadsden several times over decades, never a fan. Tried this new location right after it opened because somebody was curious, and loved it! The pizza crust was cooked all the way through!! NOT anymore...the straight lines are where the fork was raked through the UNCOOKED dough! This store has started cooking the pizzas like the original, so the middle of the pizza is UNCOOKED, which flops over like a wet dishcloth. While the toppings are good, they can’t make up for the HORRIBLE crust...and it is 100% they way they cook them! Sad for a location that HAD IT RIGHT to begin with...
