Matey's American Pizza Company

Ok, Frankie, another review for this place but this time for their regular cheese pizza. Look, it’s frozen so it is what it is and I should point out the business is mainly part of fundraising efforts, so keep that in mind. As a matter of fact, I bought a couple of these for a fundraiser for my son’s school. For some reason, we purchased two gluten free pizzas which were border line inedible (see my other review and the second one I threw in the garbage, it was that bad). This is a regular cheese pizza review. The sauce is probably the best part of this and I will give them props for not using preservatives in their frozen pizzas, so these don’t last in the freezer for decades like the other awful grocery store brands. The crust was just ok, wasn’t totally awful but I found the cheese to be a little rubbery. I can’t imagine anyone actually buying this at a retail point of sale for consumption but it’s an ok fundraiser pizza.
