Mattina's Pizzeria

2nd mattinas location and it is definitely 2nd of the two in rankings. Not bad pizza by any means but it doesn’t compare to the Delaware location. This slice just isn’t alive like ones from the other locations are. Other slices fill your mouth up with a bukkake of flavor, but this location is like getting a spritz from a spray water bottle. Solid pizza but if you’re gonna lose you’re mattinas virginity go to the other location.

a good buffalo pizza. good flavor and right amount of sauce. only issue is the lack of detail and seems they don’t take pride on how the toppings are placed on the pizza. pepperoni seemed to be just thrown on it. some pieces had considerable more than others. worth a try for the pizza lover.

This pizza was very good after our experience we had it shocked us. The sauce was a very good sweet sauce and the cheese was good. I’d compare the taste to Imperial pizza in South Buffalo. After being told “take your pizza alright and leave” I was quite turned off but the pizza was good service sucked.

Best slice in town

First of all idk why they cut it like this. Secondly the pizza was so floppy I felt like I needed a third hand to pick it up. Overall the pizza was bad. The best part was the cheese which was average at best.

Good slice

Mattina’s Pizzeria on Sheridan Dr. today... let see where do I start. I was pretty disappointed by the lack of crust as it was basically like eating a cheese sandwich with spaghetti sauce slapped underneath. Other than that part the sauce was pretty flavorful and the slices were a very good size. Not terrible but not my favorite so I’ll give it a 5.6.

Definitely a thick slice. Came in a weird shape but oh well. The sauce was really flavorful and was the best part of the pizza for sure. Because I ordered just a slice, it was a bit cold but that might be my own fault. Another thing I found odd, there was limited crust, the best part of the pizza! That’s gonna knock of a few points, Frankie. At the end of the day, I’ve had better, but I’ve definitely had worse.

Flavor less sauce, needs some spice. The pepperoni was not that good and there wasn’t even that much on the pie.

I actually liked the flavor of it. Trying to get creative with the slice style and it’s terrible. A triangle with no crust, WAY too much cheese, barely cooked and I can’t recall a more floppy slice. If I didn’t like the taste, this would be in the 3’s.

I microwaved it for 20 seconds to give it a fair review because it was a little cold. I let it sit for a couple minutes before eating as well. Very floppy, need it more crispy. Too much sauce.

This slice confused me. It started off good... Not sure why the cheese and pepperoni was on the crust (like it spilled over) and was burnt. The bottom of the slice has no crisp or bite, the sauce is straight up plain tomato paste. The cheese is good but this slice is losing a point for leaving the burnt pepperoni taste in my mouth. Today was not a good pizza day for me. This is the 3rd place and now I’m ready for a salad...
