Matzaluna

Now called Tutti Pazzi. Good crisp on some of the edges but needed another minute in the oven rotated. Sauce was a bit thin and a little watery. That combination made for extreme flop and a doughy undercarriage. Not bad, not great, your average fork and knife pie.

Another Angelo...ordered extra crispy. Very good although a bit light on sauce. Very nice pizza. Excellent service!

Great place for a pizza and cold beer after a day at the beach.

Good taste and crisp. lots of cheese, but wasn’t something I’d rush back to get. It’s worth trying in Sanibel though.

Marg style- good wood fire pizza. Nice blend of cheese and sauce. Whole lotta crisp too!

Alright Midwest Frankie here on vacation. And in all the places I have found a small slice of Italy on the island of Sanibel in Florida. A perfect cracker thin crisp crust wood fired to perfection. An amazing mix of cheese with a thin layer of tomato sauce with the perfect amount of tang. A must stop of visiting the area, even if your not staying on the island it’s worth the toll. Wish I would be here for the super bowl because this pizza would be perfect.

Not a rookie score

First things first, this is their gluten free crust BUT don't let that throw you, there are in fact pizza places that make a gluten free crust that is just incredible, and Matzaluna is one of the rare few. The crust is crisp and the dough has a wonderful flavor. The sauce and cheese are both excellent as well. This particular pie, The Angelo, is our favorite. The sausage and pepperoni only enhance how good it already is. Our ultimate recommendation is picking up a pizza or two and taking it over to one of the local beaches to watch the sunset. Enjoy!
