Maurie's Table

I went and had Maurie's table for dinner cause it's too hot to cook inside the house, so I had a mini deep dish with extra sausage and mushrooms and extra cheese crispy. My pizza was out of this world. It's why I continue to return to them.

Tried this place after Elise’s volleyball tournament in Joliet. $25+ for one topping medium w/extra sauce. Bit pricey and pizza didn’t live up to the costs. Sauce was ok. But crust was very thick for a tavern thin. Cheese was meh. A bit of a disappointment for me.

Joliet staple. Thin deep. Love the sauce with a nice crispy crust. Fresh ingredients and fresh dough. My favorite pizza place since I was a kid.

Tasted exactly like what a pizza would taste like if I made it at home, and that's not a good thing. Too inconsistent for my liking. Very crispy edges and soggy crust. The cheese was not burnt, but over cooked. Sauce was okay. Not worth the 20 minute drive, but the service was awesome.

I like the skinny deep better. Fluffy crust like they do in Detroit.
