Melfi's

This is arguably one of the best pizzas outside of the NY/NJ area. Insanely thin, crispy crust with a sauce that covers the sweet and acidic flavors. An unorthodox cheese choice that fits so perfectly with this pie. And to top it all off, purely fresh basil which brings it all together. $27 for a small ish pie that is so worth every penny and second waiting for a table.

Almost perfection.

Super thin! Super light! For how thin and the amount of sauce they put on they get a perfect crisp throughout. Personally, I’m a fan of a higher sauce to cheese ratio so I enjoyed the more tomato pie vibe. Now, is it a $27 pie? No. but it is the vibe of the restaurant. It is definitely a fancy date night spot on King St. You know what you’re getting into, Go take in the experience, order a couple dishes, enjoy a great cooked meal and don’t look at the bill. Everything else off the menu was very good.

What a unique pizza. They call it a thin crust Roman style. It was a paper thin crust. It reminded me of a tomato pie style. The sauce was really fresh, however just a bit to much for me. The crust was really good. Cooked to perfection and the freshly made stracciatella cheese was unreal!! This is a must try if in the area.

Absolutely fantastic pizza you can eat all alone. Definitely date night pizza but thin and crispy and the stracciatella on top is amazing.
