New Haven style apizza in California! This is what pizza is supposed to taste like! Central California-based Me & Ed’s used to have a strong SoCal presence for years and was what I came to know as Pizza during the 60’s of my youth. Friday nights, after the high school football games, Me&Eds was where we hung out in Whittier! When the pizza parlors started to fade Mr & Ed’s became a twinkle. Classic joint that slings a great slice of the highly fermented California cracker crust. The stuff with the cornmeal dust. Old school tavern with live country music and locals arming themselves with pitchers of beer when we visited. The zero flop and tight crispness had me doing the 7.9/8.1 dance on this one…..

Great undercarriage. It's definitely a football pizza. You aint going anywhere after you eat this. It's on the heavy side but does not lack taste. Has the after little league baseball game parlor feel ambiance. The char is perfect. 8.1 great score but staff is a little strange.

Bar pizza, good, solid pizza. Great crunch.
