Mercurio’s

Pizza was amazing. The crust was perfect. No flop. Great taste. One of the better tasting pizzas in the surrounding Pittsburgh region. The place was a gem. The restaurant was perfect from walking through the doors and being greeted so pleasant, to having such a kind waitress, to watching the staff work so well together, and the restaurant having a pleasant atmosphere. But mainly, great quality pizza. I will be back soon.

Pretty good Neapolitan. Got the Diavola, and the sauce had a nice kick to it. Chewy crust, spicy sauce, good cheese.

It was interesting take to do tomatoes instead of sauce, but I think it worked pretty well. This is good pizza to have if you want a break from all the football pizzas but are taken back from normal artesian pizzas. Very good cheese with olive oil drizzled over. Crust was doughy which can be hit or miss, but the charred edges made it. If you’re in Fox Chapel, give it a stop. (Oh yeah, DEFINITELY get the gelato)
