Michael's Ali Coal Fired Pizza

Cool little spot in the downtown area… Pizza is average but compared to options like dominos around it is solid. Nothing crazy special about it. Basic cheese, okay sauce, floppy with a decent crust.

The pizza is a bit pricey at $15 for the size. The crust was a little floppy and spongy. Good not great.

Very solid pie. Super crispy and zero flop. Too much cheese though and crust tastes like regular sliced bread.

Nice and thin but more flop than I would expect from this thin. Crust has some crisp that's good though. Flavor is good overall and with a little more crisp would be in the 7s

Perfect under carriage, a little greasy, great charcoal char.

Excellent flavor. If cooked more evenly, it would be a mid-sevens pie. But, too burnt on top and not cooked enough on the bottom. Really cool place though.

Really cool spot to hang out and grab a beer. Pizza was decent, doesn’t remind me of a coal fire pizza as the crust was on the floppy side. Good sauce. Overall a solid slice.

Good ingredients. Pepperoni was great. I wish it was crispy on the bottom. Still pretty decent.

7.6, both sauce and cheese have solid flavoring to them, not just run of the mill mozz and tomato, definitely extra seasoning and tang which I appreciate. Moderate flop but still some crunch and structure. Decent char with intermediate undercarriage crisp. Nice crust with good crunch, not to cracker like which personally is nice. Came out hot and fresh, was not very messy or unwieldy. Smaller pie size (they only had one size, 12”) however still good overall. All around great pizza and awesome atmosphere, will be visiting again if possible.

The picture is low quality but the pizza was high quality. I definitely recommend getting the Buffalo chicken pizza.

The crisp and crust are top tier however; the cheese and sauce leave a bit to be desired. Some people really like this sauce it’s just not my cup of tea.

Good pizza. No crunch. Some flop. Little greasy. Tastes pretty good though. I asked for well done and it just didn’t meet up to One Bite quality. Nice atmosphere as well!

Good pizza - a lot of flavor in the sauce and a great crisp to the crust.

Pizza should not have green leaves on it. A little lite in the sauce department. Crust is the best in town!

This was an excellent bar-sized pie. The coal fired oven def added to the overall quality of the pizza. The sauce has just the right mixture of thickness and tang. The char on the crust was crisp and crunchy without being burnt. A mixture of mozzarella and provolone cheeses added additional flavor to a traditional pie.
