Pizza Review
The “Thinny Thin” is a rippy rip off, listed at $13.95 on their website but actually $19.15 before tip. Evidently it got the “Barstool Bump” after Portnoy reviewed it. I’m really not sure what he or anyone sees in this pizza. For such a thin pie, it’s embarrassingly floppy, with the crust being the only crispy aspect, and not good enough to make up for the other lackluster ingredients. This pizza is essentially sauceless; all I can taste is the oil and heavy amounts of salt. I’m not entirely sure what kind of cheese they use but it’s incredibly pungent, super sharp, very tight & rigid and not pleasant-tasting whatsoever. The smell and taste are close to Parmesan that has recently expired. I’d say this pie just isn’t my style but I love thin crust pizza when it’s done right. This is just poorly executed and at nearly $20 a pie, it’s the least bang for your buck in New Jersey.
