Mikey's Late Night Slice

Locals said it was ok, legit slice. Sauce has some zip to it. Added pepper flakes to give it a little extra. Will be back when I’m in town again.

With extra basil, makes for a great slice!

FLOPPY, GREASY, DOUGHY, CHEESY Bar pie. If you prefer a crusty, cooked under carriage, then move along. Just move along. If you like doughy, greasy, floppy…with a lot of oregano then this is for you. Ok look, given the area and the atmosphere (live band bar), this stuff works well. But…if you’re a pizza snob then, ummm, it’s ok at best. So let’s break it down… Crust: Non-existent Cheese: Good, well seasoned Undercarriage: Greasefest 2024 Flop: WICKED FLOPPY! OMFG Sauce: Hard to tell as there’s just SO much grease and the cheese is emblazoned with oregano. Final: it’s an ok pie for a good night out drinking, but it’s definitely not a pie you go out of your way for. My Scoring System: * Always a large cheese pizza * Always made to order * Always eaten at the establishment * Always eaten while fresh and hot > 9.0 = Travel out of state or 4+ hours for the pizza. This is World-Class Pizza! > 8.0 = Travel 1 to 3 hours for the pizza. This is Local Legend Pizza > 7.0 = Local pizza that is a go-to. Very good pizza. > 6.0 = If you’re already there then you go for it. It’s not a bad pie but you’re not going out of your way for it. < 5.9 = Worsening levels of MEH. Gas station heat lamp to school lunch lady pizza. You’ll feel the dead weight in you. Hard pass (pun intended). Atmosphere and service adds/drops up to .5 points: Add 0.0 for polite service Add 0.1 for good service Add 0.2 for great service Add 0.3 for phenomenal service Add 0.4 for legendary service Add 0.5 for epic service that can only be done here Subtract 0.1 to 0.5 for meh, distracted, bad, awful, and find another job, respectively.

Second time we have tried to eat here. Service is trash. We walked in and nobody was around. Walked to the other side and bartender was in deep conversation with a customer and two other people sitting at the bar. Walked towards the back of this restaurant and still nothing. Walked over to the pizza side and stood for minutes. I could have literally done whatever I wanted to slices of pizza and nobody would know or care. We then walked to other side again, walked past bar and I finally put my arms up to the bartender and asked if anybody works on the pizza side. He then points to the male subject at the bar talking to a female and got his attention. Employee gets up and goes to the pizza side. We walk over and hes just standing there with a spatula waiving for is to come over in a hurry because we inconvenienced his talk at the bar. At that point just annoyed and with little care about service, we did not even try the pizza. Will never go back again. Obviously pour management.

Spicy and crispy

Solid slice. Cheese with basil adds a nice element. Reasonably priced. They have various options which also include vegan.

Really good slice, best I've had so far in Cincinnati (haven't had much outside of Clifton)

Above average drunk pizza. Nice crisp, little flop, little greasy, flavorful garlic basil crust, but very little sauce which really killed the score for me - better sauce to cheese ratio would have put this in the 7’s.

Solid drunk slice. Good sauce and lots of basil to spice it up. Chewy crust and $6 cost drive the score down. Definitely can do worse in the Cincinnati area though

The pizza could be more well done crust pretty floppy. And the cheese is a little greasy.

Very good. Crust could be more crispy. Sauce not very flavorful. Cheese very greasy. Overall ambience great. Service very good! Will be back.

The cheese was loaded with flavor and spice! Had the Pep as well but it was not nearly as good at all strangely enough. Cheese however, gold medal slice, 7.8. That’s a review.
