Millie's Old World Meatballs & Pizza

I had pretty hi hopes goin into this one as a friend highly recommended the place but I think I caught them at an off time. While having incredible flavor from the sauce and cheese the crust was just a little to heavy for my liking and nowhere near cooked enough for asking for a well done pie. There were faint leaparding marks underneath but no crisp. This place offers both coal and wood fired ovens, this being the coal pie I expected a little bit more. But saving this pizza is the sauce, incredibly rich and boasting tons of flavor to match their homemade mozz both complimenting each other. If the crust were right this is an easy mix or higher 8 as the flavor alone still made this very enjoyable but I just can’t get past the rest. Place itself is awesome with great service and I’d love to try their steaks another time. Like I said I think this was just an off time as a lot of other reviews look superior in the crust dept.
