Mineo's Pizza House

Mineo’s, like it or not is the quintessential Pittsburgh pie. I say this because although there may be better pies here, you can get better versions of them elsewhere. The pros and cons of this pie are the same. The crust is lathered in olive oil (but still retains good crunch), the sauce is heavily seasoned, the cheese is abundant, and it’s a bit greasy. The reason I give it an 8+ is only because if you are only in pgh for the night and want to grab a pizza, anything other than mineo’s is a wasted experience.
