Mob Pie

I don’t abide by the one bite rule and this pizza is a good example of why. First bite was good! It evoked something of an idealized school pizza vibe. Not what that pizza actually tasted like but what you always wanted it to taste like. Tons of cheese, that soft chewy dough and lots of welcome grease! Mmm mmm. My 13 year old self would have had this every day at school! The more I ate it the less impressed I was. By the end I felt like I was eating a slice of pizza from Crosby’s. That’s a gas station, folks. A decent slice to grab while you’re out? Sure. A favorite place to revisit and order a complete pie? Not as far as I’m concerned.
