Modern Apizza

Great crisp on the crust and really good pizza. Wish there was a little more sauce and a little more flavor with the sauce. Overall a really good pie but probably not quite on Pepe level in New Haven.

Italian Bomb. My go to pie when in New Haven.

Excellent char, perfect crunch on the crust. Sauce was tangy and had good flavor. The sausage was also delicious and light tasting with a nice fennel flavor. The pizza as a whole lacked a “punch” for me as it did not have a lot of cheese. I would opt for extra cheese next time and the score will probably be higher.

Doesn’t beat Sally’s but it’s excellent

Photo doesn’t do it justice, legitimately a top 3 pie I’ve ever had. There was a good bit of flop and maybe could’ve been cooked longer but other than that it was close to flawless

Light crust , not as much crunch as I would want but it was good! Sauce and cheese were good!

Pizza was amazing. Crust sauce and cheese 🔥. The middle has some flop for sure but it didn’t stop me from moving every bite.

Finally hitting New Haven! Modern didn’t disappoint! 9.1!

Beats sallys and pepes

A beautiful crisp, no over burn spots on the crust/undercarriage. Top of the pizza was cooked perfectly. Cheese and sauce combo is excellent.
