Two pies, both were game changing. The Modern staple is the Italian Bomb, and bomb it was. An explosion of flavor toppings with each bite all the way till you hit that amazing coal fired crust. Second pie was pepperoni. Simple yet amazing, sauce cheese and meat all perfected into one bite of heaven.

Such a beautiful pie, we got it well done. Best cheese and the undercarriage was so crisp. Could’ve used more sauce and the bread could’ve had more flavor, great pie though

Best pizza in Connecticut. It had really good taste, good sauce and loved how cheesy it was. I could taste a fair bit of oregano on the pizza as well.

This one was on my bucket list for a while. Boy, was it enjoyable even though I was expected to be disappointed. The coal oven really gave it great flavor, and the crust was my favorite part. Cheese to sauce ratio was slightly in favor of the cheese, but it didn't take away from that great taste from the seasoned sauce. The only beef I had with the pie was the loose and floppy center. If it had the crisp like it did on the back end, this would be in the high 8's low 9's. May be the best in New Haven, and would return in a heartbeat.

If you are a cheese lover, this will be your style. A little light on the sauce. Perfect charcoal crust. Plain as the way.
