I like the thinnest of the pizza and the hint of pecorino Romano, but the slice was very floppy. Even though it was floppy, this was a pretty good slice.

Margarita & Pepp

First trip to Modern and was very pleased. Also got a small Italian bomb pie which was very good but impossible to actually eat as a slice. Tangier and saltier cheese than Pepe’s in a good way. I think we liked the crust better at Pepe’s today as a group but this really hit me good.

very very good - so far in New Haven we have hit here and Frank Pepe’s... both FIRE but Frank Pepe’s a little better. This is so good. Also plain pizza you have to say mozzarella or just sauce with parm cheese so we did half and half to try. mozz side better.

This pizza was fantastic, a little more crust compared to Frank’s and Sally’s but it was light airy and crisp. Would have scored it higher but it was a little to loose and sloppy in the center. Taste was amazing

Very similar style to Sally’s and Frank PePe. Solid pie. Little bit of thicker rubber crust, but overall fantastic slice!

A little bit more greasy than Sally’s but the flavor was amazing and the cheese was delicious! One of my favorites!!

Flop is real. Picked up one slice and half the cheese slid off. Pizza was not cut well and it was hard to pull one slice. Slightly greasy but not to bad. Cheese was good but unable to eat half the slice. Low score because the first half of the slice is wet dough with no crisp. Rest of the slice is chewy slightly burnt.

Amazing pizza. First look in the box was great. Half anchovy was tasty. Crust was perfect with a small crunch. Sauce was smooth, cheese great. Best pizza around and we live in RI.
