Modern Apizza

Definitely the best in New Haven. Very greasy and needed more sauce, but the rest is great

I finally got here. Being from Long Island this was supposed to be one of the best. Disappointed is an understatement. 75% of Long Island pizza restaurants are better. Super floppy. No char. Doughy. Good flavor but one side crispy the other 3/4 almost raw. Sticking with Long Island pizza. What a waste

My #3 spot in New Haven, but I will not fault you if this place is your first choice. Amazing pizza, super crispy, great undercarriage, and very flavorful. They do put a little more cheese than Sally’s or Pepe’s, but that’s more of a personal preference for me than anything. I still love their pizza.

June 7, 2024 it was a great day to enjoy a slice from modern. The slice sauce was great, and the char left our fingers black! The only thing that wasn’t up the ‘par’, it had too much flop! Cheers Modern!

Definitely better than Sally’s and I think better than Pepe’s. It tastes ALMOST exactly like John’s of Bleecker which is my number one.

Great pizza! Love the mozzarella, could use alittle bit more sauce and it is floppy. The Italian bomb pizza is awesome in its own way too.

This was the first pizza we tried while visiting New Haven. Lives up to the hype. More cheese than Sally’s but still a quality apizza.

Truly great pizza. Sally’s was busy as hell, so we tried the next best thing. This is a pizza that belongs in the 9’s. Crispy edges, a little soupy in the middle, but tasted amazing. Awesome brick oven inside too that you can see from the takeout counter.

If it was a little more crispy with a better undercarriage it would of been perfect
