Ok where we at today Frankie?? we are at Molisana Bakery (pizza review time Jan 27 12:00pm)... this is a family run business with over 20 years in the food industry. ... With a great -> reputation—> Molisana has become the #1 lunch destination in various locations across the GTA —> today we are trying the Brampton location—> great authentic Italian bakery where their foods are prepared to be healthy alternatives for customers besides commercial and fast food chains -> while taking a break from cooking —> while still enjoying a home style meal—> it’s a long winded motto —> but a motto nonetheless and we like it Frankie —> its January-> it’s freezing -> it’s Canada and we came to try the pizza —> one bite everyone knows the rules —> we are at Molisana Bakery on Philosophers Trail in Brampton—> some say the Best Italian dough IN Brampton—> we will be the judge of that —> others seem to like the cannolis here as they have a great variety of flavours like ricotta, pistachio, chocolate, custard etc. ... they offer fresh croissants and Great veal sandwich and Italian lunch items, pasteries, coffees , Phenomenal espresso and cappuccinos and Great prices for everything—> last but not least —> apparently one of the best pizzas around -> so we came out here to try it —> one bite everyone knows the rules—> Frankie this pizza wasn’t cheap $25 and it took quite a while to make—> 40min? —> definitely call your order in and then you’ll realize there is only one size pizza —> the party pizza —> so we ordered one —> not deducting any points for that Frankie —> the man doesn’t fuck around with various pizza sizes —> one size and it’s huge —> one bite everyone knows the rules —> Sauce has a mild marinara kick to it —> cheese is super fresh and stringy —> undercarriage char perfection complemented by an absolutely perfect crust —> it did have a mild flop ... ( some would call it Pillsberry dough boy pizza Frankie - We wouldn’t - some would - We wouldn’t)... The dough has a croissant type aftertaste to it —> it is made from very good ingredients and the uniqueness of that blend of pastries and Pizza combining to make a bakery style pizza —> made with the freshest and best ingredients and of course with the time that it took? It was definitely made with love —> and let’s not forget to mention the salt of the Earth guy running the place —> this is definitely living up to its reputation of being one of the best pizza parlours in Brampton even though it’s a bakery—> Tonino’s Pizza place down the road where we were a little intimidated by the hard-core gangster Italian family that was working in there and they served up a true authentic Italian Pizza—> the type that you would get from your italian neighbours who have a pizza oven in the backyard ... this pizza is definitely in the range of Tonino’s— we gave Tonino’s a 7.7 and we gave ‘That Italian place’ 8.1 —-> taking all of the above into consideration—> we score every place honestly and we won’t be strong armed -> here we go -> 1 to 10 / one bite / everyone knows the rules / bite it / score it -> 1 thru 10 -> here we go ~> all wrapped into one ! 7.8 (professional score) Pizza from Molisana Bakery —> very good but different where Tonino’s and That Italian place serve authentic Italian pizza and Good Fellas has a authentic Neapolitan type pizza —> this ? this is s bakery pizza —> dough is good but it’s not traditional—> it’s really good —> but being non traditional... means it’s not authentic—> after a few slices -> it has an aftertaste like they mixed croissant batter in with the pizza dough—> it’s a sweet dough —> it’s pastry meets pizza —> it’s bakery pizza —> very good pie —> we almost ate the entire party size pizza —> Molisana Bakery -> 7.8 that’s a review!
