Mona Lisa Pizzeria

The great pizzaiola! The wonderful pizzaiola. Pretty standard Staten Island pizza. Some of the things they say on the website is weird. “If you have our pizza, you’ll never want another place” some jibber jabber like that. That’s ridiculous. But good stuff regardless of the wrestling promos on their website. If you brought a pie over your pizzones house, they would just grab a slice and not ask any questions like “where is this from?” It’s standard slightly above average Staten Island pizza.

A but salty and lots of grease. Wouod be rated 7.2 if it was not as greasy Overall, decent slice. Better than average for sure.

Pizza champion here amazing guy came and got the grandma which which was crispy airy garlicky with fresh cheese great tasting hearty sauce. The New Yorker slice again nice airy crispy crust with a sweet sauce seasoned well and reminds me of the hometown favorite easton bakery tomatoe pie. After talking I was given the gold medal slice to try and as much as I don’t like everything that was on it by itself on this slice it was the perfect combination amd what won him many competitions. Great place great people this place is a real hidden gem and deserves more attention!!

Very good pizza, there was a nice crispy crust, good temperature and the cheese and sauce were very good, it was very greasy though. Overall it was a good experience.

Ok hear me out. I used to love Mona Lisa. I loved their vodka slice and chicken vodka slice. Regular slice is ok, not really consistent. I tried a few other things but nothing came close to the vodka and chicken vodka. Then one day I went back to find out my favorite pizza maker died, May he Rest In Peace. Pretty upset about that. Ever since then the pizza has gone downhill and not even edible. Such a shame because it used to be one of my favorites.

Good slice...Needs more sauce and to be a little more crispy...Overall a good tasting pizza.
