Moonlight Pizza

My goat. I’m speechless. Extremely unique. Crispy on the outside and bubbly as you bite into it. The basil on top adds a very nice color and visual appeal that makes the pizza look amazing. The smell when I opened the box was perfect. Overall extremely flavorful and fresh ingredients. I got the red pie and the white pie. Perfect pairing

Had to see what the hype is all about from Rich H and Dave P. Very good, a little bummed that I ordered and paid for pepperoni on half and didn’t get it but the owner’s so nice I didn’t care. Took a rock on the windshield on the 55mjn drive there tho which makes this the most expensive pizza trip I’ve done but still glad I made it. The dough/crust is what people hype most and it is very good. More on the cooked/crispy side (would’ve liked it softer and chewy inside the crust like a freshly baked roll) but still fresh and high quality, firms up as it cools. It’s also thicker than you’d expect but a lot of that is their unique cheese blend which sits heavy. The sauce is fine but not the star of the show, got it on the side and actually has a spicy kick to it. Still a top 10 pizza for me, just being extra critical bc of the buzz. Tried the white just for fun, drive all the way down there for one pie. Very good if you’re in the mood for a ricotta base pizza. The sauce I ordered was for dipping but really didn’t need it. Again considering the dough is the star, you can’t go wrong with what pizza you order so just roll with whatever you’re in the mood for. Had to try a bonus cannoli, mild in flavor but I like the texture it’s a little smoother/creamier than usual, not bad.

Moonlight Pizza had our attention for over a year before we finally got to try it. We also reviewed their “Greens” pizza (score below) Crusty, crust and CRUST. Holy pizza dough this is the best crust we’ve ever had! We ate this boogie but not pretentious pizza with dashboard napkins watching people go in and out the cracked open pizzeria door. The cheese is so flavorful, thick and melty we recommend letting it cool a bit before trying to pick it up. Leave the basil on, it adds to the Love. Make the trip, totally worth it!! “The Greens” score is a high 9.6 from us!! #Pizzamooners ❤️

Little on the cheesy side. But great crust and flavor. I would prefer half the amount of cheese lol.

Very good pie. Reminds me of Angelo’s in Philly. The crust and dough were amazing. No flop. Good cheese. Sauce tasted really fresh but no bold flavor. Cheese could have been tighter too. Correct those things and this pie could reach the 9s

Absolutely world class Pizza here folks. I’ve had the best in NYC, NJ, Philly, and New Haven and the execution and ingredients are top tier!! The owners are also some of the nicest people you will meet anywhere. This Pizza is worth a VERY LONG drive if you have to. Get here ASAP!!

Could go toe to toe with Angelo’s or John’s. Way better than Beddia. Incredible pies. White is just as good as the cheese
