Mootz Pizzeria + Bar

Chewy but very good. Needed to be a little more crisp for me but I thought I was good.

Good overall pizza! Great looking place in downtown Detroit.

My wife and I are just visiting for a day and we stumbled upon Mootz. The pizza was fantastic and the service was great.

Alright Frankie, this place is awesome on the inside. Super hip. Murals on the wall. Awesome place for a pizza date. The pizza was awesome! Light and fluffy dough that was the perfect amount of crisp and lightness. All the ingredients were great and had the perfect cup & char pepperonis. Little cups of grease. So perfect. I’d give it a 8.92 but it only lets me give it an 8.9. I probably should give it a 9 but I don’t do round numbers. It’s in the neighborhood of 9. It’s next door to 9.0. 8.9. That’s a review.

Lots of flop. Lots of grease. Everyone I was with loved this pizza a lot more than I did. I need more crisp. 6.9 that’s the review.

One of the better pies I’ve had. Tremendous crust with crisp but not overdone, slight flop. Pepperoni spicy. I think the bubbly bottom pan provides the X factor making the crust elite.

Nice flop. Sauce was pretty good. Way better than the first time I had it. $5 for a slice in the birthplace of the hot n ready is a bit much. Cashless is dumb AF.

I’d say it’s maybe worth a dollar but they don’t take cash so who knows. Embarrassing
