Motor City Pizza

I love Detroit style pizza, and this place is the best I’ve ever had. I did half and half to stay classic but try one of their specialties. The Birria is amazing. The staff was friendly and the place was packed.

I wanted to love this pizza. It was ok, but the tastes were just missing or off. I wanted the dough and sauce to be more flavorful. The pepperoni wasn't the best. Some bites were much better than others. At the end of the day, it's pizza so it was good. I just wanted it to be great. The waiter was very friendly and good. The place was packed on a random Thursday night. The menu is cool with some great looking speciality pizzas. I'd say it's worth a try, but just don't expect the world and hopefully you'll be pleasantly surprised

Seriously, some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. The crispy, cheesy edges. The cheese pull was fantastic. It’s like an offensive lineman … looks heavy, but light on its feet.

Very delicious pizza. I ate when I got home so it had maybe cooled more than I wanted but it is really for for Detroit style which I love. Best Detroit pizza locally

Not my usual style. Still very good. Heavy pizza with good flavor and undercarriage.

Love me some Detroit style pizza!

Starting off with the corner piece, a beautiful spicy pepperoni blends nicely with a robust, aromatic sauce. Mixed with a crispy crunch of the crust, things were really looking bright. Moving to a second piece, though, things took a catastrophic turn for the worse. Extreme flop and dripping grease, my unwavering optimism began to waver. It was a whirlwind of emotion as flavors were still dancing on my pallet. I can’t help but think that if my journey would have ended at one piece, things would have been differently.

Stunningly good Detroit style pizza: fluffy, crisped cheese at the edge, flavorful and herbaceous sauce, salty cheese. Pepperoni was our choice and they cupped nicely under the heat. It’s not a classic round pie, but I’m from New Haven (Portnoy’s pizza heaven) and I won’t hesitate to say this is by far and away the best pizza I’ve found in DFW.

Good flavor. Nice Spicy pepperoni. Lots of cheese. Not my personal favorite as far as style of pizza goes though. But very good for this style.
