Mountain Pies

Excellent, worth a drive. Had fresh out the oven, face burner. Thin crust, perfect crisp, light, fresh dough. Seemed a little light on sauce, only thing I’d change. Very impressed. And this is after having top NY pizza a few weeks ago.

First time reviewing pizza in Fayette County! First impression after opening the box is that it looks like Papa John’s. First impression after trying is that it tastes like Papa John’s too! The pizza is super floppy and greasy thanks to all the cheese they put on. I couldn’t taste the sauce either, and the cheese isn’t high quality enough to carry this score. A huge positive I have is the dough is absolutely scrumptious. Eating the crust at the end of the slice is the highlight of the pizza, which doesn’t bode well for the overall score if that is the best part.

Yes there's flop, yes there's a little grease but it is the freshest pie you'll ever eat. It isn't the NY crisp bottom that I love but the overall quality cannot be overlooked. Fresh hand tossed dough. Sauce is exactly what I like, basic, lightly seasoned crushed tomatoes.

Favorite pizza in PA. Dough and sauce are homemade. Not too greasy and just simply delicious. The slices are thin yet fluffy and full of flavor.
