Mr Scrib's Pizza

Very high score for me. I always ask each place to do well done & Scribs did that right. Charred edges & well done but not burnt undercarriage. The crust was the perfect thickness & airy. The ratio of cheese, sauce, to crust was very good. Definitely a pizza I couldn’t just take one bite of. Chicago tavern style isn’t my favorite style pizza so an 8.6 will do.

Best pizza in the area. Just the right amount of cheese and cooked to perfection with just the right amount of crunch.

Doughy and pretty bland. This is supposed to be a thin crust and the crusty bread was underdone. Not a do-over.

No flavor and very bland

Thin crust, cut into squares & greasy. If this doesn’t sound good to you already, you’re at the wrong place. This is the pizza I grew up on, so I’m sure my score is influenced by my nostalgia for it. I order mine deluxe, plus bacon; crispy. It’s amazing

Good Za! A lot of grease. Barely any sauce. Does have good flavor!

Not their thin but their pan. Very bready bottom and crust. Cheese is thick, sauce isn’t bad but nothing special. It’s good and I’m happy for a Friday night.

I’ve had some great pizza from them. Just seems they’re not incredibly consistent. Quirky atmosphere, some slide offs, pepperoni almost overpowers the pizza.
