Mug's Pizza and Ribs of Melrose Park

This is review on the sausage pie at Mugs on Grand Ave. Thin crust with a very small putter crunch, inside is very soft and flimsy. There is a very minimal amount of sauce. The little amount I was able to taste at the top where crust meets the cheese, tasted seasoned with garlic and Italian seasoning. Definitely needs more to enjoy the recipe. The cheese layer was perfect. Nice cheesiness, not sloppy. The sausage is nice and chunky. Wouldn’t say it premium sausage though. I would like to see this pie cooked a little longer and add more sausage. I see myself going back if I just want a quick slice somewhere and don’t care about top quality. I do love many other things on there menu though! So definitely check out what else they have.
