Mystic Pizza

This pizza flops harder than Kyrie Irving. It’s good tho. Nice sauce.

Well this place was well worth the wait, I can tell you that much! The pizza was smaller than a normal pie but larger than a bar pie. It was thicker and had no flop and no runaway cheese for the amount of cheese on top. The sauce was sweet and the crust and undercarriage were crispy. I ate it right out of the oven and burned my friggen mouth up, but it was totally worth it!

Light and fluffy. Looks heavier than it is. Not a ton of flavor in sauce or cheese, but not horrible. Slightly above average pizza with the famous name recognition

Better quality Costco type pizza, I enjoyed it but I by no means blew my socks off. Very chewy and cheesy which made this a fun eat

$30 for the House Special…… So I got swindled into go to Mystic Pizza because my new gf loves the movie and said the pizza was to die for. Clearly her idea of good pizza is at about a sewer lid level, because this pizza really wasn’t good, and WAY overpriced to boot. The middle/ tips of each slice were soft, better cooked toward the crust. Sauce was nothing worth getting excited about. Service was good and waitress was very nice. All in all, if it’s a first date and you know there will be a payoff after dinner, then drop the $$ but otherwise don’t waste your money.

Sauce is sweeter than I prefer. To much flop and bad under carnage. Come for the experience not the pizza.

Not what we were expecting from a famous pizzeria. Disappointed to say the leased. My score is a 5.2 and I feel that maybe a bit high.

Greasy heavy pizza. Pizza Hut but with a little pizzazz. Definitely a tourist attraction.

This has to be rated on the Pizza Hut/Dominos scale. It’s a decent slice. Not comparable to Sally’s or a traditional New Haven slice. Get the fresh garlic add-on and enjoy the nostalgia.

Crust is light an airy- with an oiled pan crunch. Sauce had a garlic note that is nice, but the cheese is piled on a little heavy. The pie is evenly cooked until it’s browned. The staff is good, but movies and fame aside- there’s better pizza in town!

Had the pizza and a chicken parm dinner. Pizza tastes similar to Chucky Cheeses. The chicken parm was ok but the sauce just isn’t that good. Cool place.

Bottom line with this pizza. Don’t come here looking for a traditional slice of pizza, it’s not what they sell. Pizza is made on a conveyor belt system much like Pizza Hut, except this was not as greasy. I came here just to say “I’ve eaten at Mystic Pizza” but to be honest I would eat here again. The vibe was old school, wait staff was friendly and service was quick considering it’s a tourist village. Lots of reviews here calling it trash and I completely disagree, if you’re comparing it to New York or New Haven pizza you’re going to come up with a bad review, it’s just not that type of pizza. For what it is, I suggest you stop in and try it yourself!

Coming from long island, have had my share or really good pizza. Hell, even new haven pizza was pretty good. This....this is on par with Chuck e cheese and papa John's. Famously shitty pizza

Took a day trip to Mystic Connecticut from New York City and had to stop at this pizzeria because of the movie however the pizza is at best average on a good day. Crust is identical to Domino’s with too much sauce and hardly any sauce. My pie was with Basil but as you can see it looks like a bed of lettuce. Very bland. Living off the nostalgia of the hit movie.
