Neighborhood Pizza Cafe

Terrible. I tried this place a long time ago and didn’t think much of it. I decided to revisit after I found out they were 8 time champions in the local pizza bowl. My god this was one of the worst pies I’ve tried in Springfield. The pizza was so doughy, I was only able to eat a few thinly cut slices. The cheese wasn’t anything special. I asked for it well done bc I knew they had a belt oven. But the dough to cheese/sauce ratio is what really got this pizza it’s score. I heard a lot of hype going into this place but my expectations remained the same. So maybe that’s why it’s surprising that it didn’t meet my expectations... I’m sure there will be people who love this place but at the end of the day, it’s just a shopping mall pizza place with a belt oven and way too much hype. (Side note somehow these guys don’t have parmesan cheese?)
