Nello's Pizza Mesa

When it comes to pizza, I like a New York style pizza, not a Chicago style pizza so at first I didn't think I would like this place! "one bite everyone knows the rules" The pizza looks really good. It's a deep dish style crust so it's absolutely not my "go to" type of pizza but it wasn't bad. Truth be told it was cooked all the way through, the crust crispy and fresh, not at all what I expected. The sauce was good but for me I found dipping the pizza in their home made house salad dressing is what made me want to come back. When you combine the crispy crust with the cheese and other toppings it was actually really good. 🍕OK so how about a 7.0 This pizza is not bad at all!!

The traditional crust is deeper and almost tastes like garlic bread. Really good if you like a fluffier crust. They have a thin crust that is Chicago style and also really good. Legit good pizza you just have to make sure you order the right pizza for you.

This place is a 6.7 on a bad day and 7.5 on their best day. Very consistent. Not exactly Chicago style, but deeper dish. Very high quality ingredients. Nello's is our go to spot

Overrated. Tried giving them a second shot after 5 years and can still not understand why people like this.

The pizza was amazing. The marinara sauce was almost sweet. They had a great topping ratio. Highly recommend checking this place out.

The Margherita pizza is bomb! The crust is very crispy, almost tastes like it’s fried! The cheese was also tasty. Established in 1984 and I can’t believe it took me this long to try it!

Got the small 10" thin crust plain cheese pie. Pretty good, a little undercooked, sauce was a tad too sweet but not as bad as some other places in az. Def not a 7.5

Here from Chicago and was told this was one of the best in the area. Sausage...tastes terrible. Sauce...not much better than the sausage. The original crust was ok, but I don’t see what all the fuss was about.

Original crust is great! Sauce is somewhat sweet but has great flavour.. thin crust isn’t as good but definitely decent nonetheless

This is awesome pizza and the dough @ crust is hand made by the owners wife and family. The sauce just makes you crave more. Can’t just eat one slice here.
