New York City Pizza

A solid 6.5

Me and my drummer play across the street from here every Sunday, so we decided to check the place out. Pizza is ok, it’s not inedible, but there are definitely better places to get better pizza. Floppage, bland sauce, cheese kept falling off the pizza, and the crust had less crisp than expected. It’s ok, but not ideal.

This pizza came out lava hot! Let it cool for a sec so I didn’t burn my face off. Good sauce good cheese. It came out med well. No flop. 7.5

Good cheese qualify but not a ton of flavor. Good floppage but could have a bit more crunch to crust. Lots of flour in crust.

Bro no idea how this got a 6 overall. Super nice staff. This pizza is so thin and crispy and flavorful. The dough it perfect and tastes great on its own. This shits all over Raleigh pizza. 8.3 that’s a review

A LOT of grease. Crust is crispy and it has a little zing, my guess is from the pepperonis and not the sauce.

First, I only ordered a single slice which definitely hurts the score. The dough is actually pretty darn good, and the sauce wasn’t too bad. But this thing was a greaseball, mainly due to these poor quality peckeronis which likely came from a bag. Whole pie would probably be about a 6, but not a bad place for late night pizza or just a slice while walking around.

Margherita pie. Pretty good crust by Charleston standards, decent sauce, surprisingly not bad.

Keep in mind I’m drunk but this place has good solid crust doesn’t flop much in a solid crust but it is greasy so that takes it down a notch especially if you’re not a grease guy. It’s sauce is very good but it’s a basic pie. 7.5 because I don’t mind much grease but I could eat the shit out of it for hours.
