I was in town for business and decided to check out the YBOR historical district. Being the pizza whore that I am I grabbed a slice of pizza from New York New York Pizza. This was my second pizza joint of my trip. The pizza was terrible! Very greasy and tasteless. It was like eating greasy cheese on a wafer thin crispy bread. I would not go out of my way to grab a slice from New York New York Pizza. This place has a lot of good reviews but keep in mind where this place is located...in the YBOR historical district. A dingy area of town with seedy bars, cigar shoppes, and tattoo and piercing places. People who go to YBOR probably are too drunk or stoned to know what good pizza is like.

I've been to their Howard Ave location on the big Tampa party strip and thought it was fantastic. 1. I put my reputation on the line by bringing my 2 friends here for dinner. 2. The place did not let us down. This place would easily do well if in NYC. 3. Perfect dough that is thick but not doughy. Sauce and cheese absolutely perfect!!

Solid slice. Lacks on the cheese, not much flop, crust was very crispy, almost too crispy for how thin it is. But overall, decent slice.

A little greasy, but the crisp is legendary, a great under carriage, and a good cheese to sauce ratio. Got a couple of cheese slices, and they came out piping hot.
