The best pizza within 200 miles!

Saw some high scores on here…but I’ve realized that people from the Midwest don’t know good pizza. I mean, a lot of them think Casey’s has good pizza so… This pizza had a good undercarriage, a nice sweet sauce that made the pizza. Didn’t have quite the crunch I would expect, minimal crunch to be honest, but it was solid across the board. Some of the best pizza I’ve had in the Midwest so far.

One bite everyone knows the rules. By Joplin standards it’s a 9 or 10. Good solid NY style pizza best pizza in this area.

I’m not a pizza person nor do I ever leave a food reviews, but this pizza was so good I had to leave a review. The crust is exactly how pizza crust should be and the cheese consistency and pull is perfect. 10/10 pizza

Everybody knows the rules! This pie had a great undercarriage, dough was light, airy,and actually taste good. Little flop. It is a bit greasy but what do you expect when you order pepperoni. Best pizza in Joplin, must try!

No flop, nice crisp but fluffy crust. Also got the Caprese salad. I would have liked to see a little char. But other than that everything was amazing.

Okay, this review has a lot going on. I have been waiting to try this spot for a long time. It has all the inidcators of a great pizza place. Limited hours, limited seating, reviews saying they are always busy, etc. When we arrived it was packed and that never changed the whole time we were there. Not sure if this is typical but be prepared to wait because they are so busy. Now to the pizza. It was worth the wait!!! It was cooked perfect with just right amount of char and zero flop. The sauce was the highlight!! It was fresh and slightly sweet and a perfect compliment to the airy crust. If in Joplin don’t bother going anywhere else this place is as close to a real NY slice as you can get. It’s not at Bleeker St level but it did remind me of John’s. Great pizza spot and a must try if anywhere close to Joplin. Bonus review: Garlic Cheese bread was amazing. Must try 8.7 on the GCB.

Let me start by saying on a Joplin scale this is like a 9.2 so I feel bad only giving them credit for a 7.2. This was a great pie. Cooked to perfection with no speical instructions with: good undercarriage, some char, solid crunch, and only a slight New York flop. Quality cheese, sauce was only alright, but you could see the chunks of real tomato around the crust. It was a little greasy (mostly my fault for getting pepperoni so this isn't a large deduction) Best pizza in Joplin!!

I got the Neapolitan. Very fresh ingredients. Good crust. Nice and light. I would definitely eat here again. I’d like to try their NY Style, too.

Nailed it.

Solid pie, had a little more flop then I would have liked. Decent crisp, not too burnt. The sauce has the basic tomato flavor. The sauce wasn’t very spread out so the bites weren’t very consistent with flavor. Cheese was good.

Pizza Kit Pizza. Fluffy crust. Light. Great sauce. Good cheese to sauce ratio.

I’ve had this pizza a lot now in Joplin. It’s the only real pizza joint around the area. Usually, it’s in the mid-6s. This weekend I bought a traditional cheese pie and a wood fired pie with meatballs and mushrooms. No char on either pie. Both with real heavy flop. Must have been from being in the cardboard box for too long. A bit of grease. Ok chew on the crust, but the undercarriage was soft. Cheese is good, sauce is OK, but lacked the tang. Score slipped up a bit. Still the best pizza in Joplin.

Amazing pie!! Crust was thin, no flop, and super crispy. Get your pizza NY style or wood oven!
