New York Pizza and Pasta

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ LISTEN HERE AND LISTEN GOOD! Neal & I were on the hunt for some good new york style pizza and we are SO GLAD to have found such a GEM! New York Pizza and Pasta in baton rouge was MORE than a hit out of the park.... it was clean, DELICIOUS, and the owner was such a sweetheart! She served us personally, saw we were taking pictures and offered to get one for us. This pizza was TOP NOTCH. Little to no flop, perfectly charred but not burnt under carriage (one bite everyone knows the rules! 😜)... it had excellent flavor and we will be back...often! Not to mention the pastas on their menu....from lobster ravioli to manicotti...what a dream! This service and experience was so much more than we expected and this small business deserves a PACKED restaurant!! Go check her out

Second time I’ve tried this pizza. The first time I had the white pizza and didn’t think it was great. The regular cheese is just as bad. No flavor, lot of flop.

Pizza was good. To much cheese and not enough sauce for me. Really nice crisp throughout the slice. Restaurant was a good atmosphere.

I took the advice of some of the reviewers. I asked for light cheese and well done. It came out great. The crust had a nice crunch to it and the sauce tasted very fresh. There was a drizzle of parmesan that represented a bit of zest upon initial bite. It really did have a New York Style feel and taste to it.

Forgot to take a picture of the pizza.. Fantastic pizza. The cheese and sauce have an exceptional flavor. Very true NYC slices. I got the cheese pizza. Incredible. Best pizza I’ve had in years. Not greasy, great flop balance, incredible crust.

Decent pie, certainly above average or a basic delivery pie. Nice color on the bottom of the crust, little to no flop when folded- but it’s a little underwhelming compared to a more developed crust that you get from great pies. Little less chewy than I like from a dough that’s kneaded and risen more. I think it’s cooked in a pan of some sort, but can’t be certain. Sauce is overshadowed by the amount of stringy cheese so it’s hard to get much flavor from it, and this would level up significantly if it had a good bit more browning on the top. I like that they garnish it with some herbs and Parmesan. I’d definitely try it again and ask for it to be well-done. Good football pizza.

I got the Stromboli and stuff meat pizza. Both were very good.

I tried New York Pizza and Pasta in Baton Rouge yesterday, and it is a hidden gem. I ordered the margherita pizza and you could taste every single ingredient in that pizza. It was bursting with flavor. It had medium flop and was just the right amount of greasy. The only thing that I wasn’t crazy about was the crust, it was a little soft and didn’t have much flavor. Other than that it’s was a pretty darn good pizza. Solid 7.2. All you pizza amateurs need to venture out from around LSU and check this place out.

Solid 6.0. Not the best pizza I’ve ever had, but nice mixup for the area. Bland crust, nice cheese.
