New York Pizza

Best pizza I’ve had in NY. I’ve tried quite a bit of places up in Albany, Schenectady and Plattsburgh. Definitely the best of any I’ve tried.

Really great pizza!! Sauce is delicious, cheese is so good! Crust is amazing! If I lived in Plattsburgh this would be my go to spot! The owner is such a nice guy and really cares about making pizza. He is a true traditional pizza maker!

Great pizza, flavor is on point, sauce is excellent, cheese is some of the best I’ve had, owner special orders it. Price is right. Was a little floppy Frankie, but easily fixed if left in the oven a little longer.

A good solid pizza for the Plattsburgh area. The sauce has a sweetness and the dough is fresh. Not heavy at all. A little greasy from the cheese, but not too greasy. Great story from a great owner who loves his pizza! Definitely worth repeat visits.

This was the last place in Plattsburgh that I hadn't reviewed, as New York Pizza doesn't do slices (only whole pies). The pizza is top notch for the Plattsburgh area, as the owner/one man wrecking crew only uses high-end ingredients and takes pride in his work. The pizza features whole milk mozzarella which is greasier than most, but has noticeably more flavor. The crust is nice and thin but could have used a little more crisp for my liking. Other than that it was exceptional! The owner was also a wicked cool dude who would have talked pizza for hours if I had the time lol!

Well done large cheese pie, Frankie. Football pie to a T. Cheese is very good, thin crust but not enough crisp to it. Needs more sauce but damn, this is quality pizza. Will get again soon with extra sauce. Owner is cool too. That’s a review.

Fresh dough, fresh sauce, cheese sourced from New York City and the owner straight from the city who actually knows how to make a pizza. Highly recommend, owner couldn’t be nicer and pizza brings great taste.
