Nicco's Pizzaria

One Bite fixed the app so my reviews are counting again. They should’ve added some more places to the app, because I am yet again reviewing one that’s not on the app. This place is called Mambo Italia in downtown Sewickley. This isn’t my favorite style of pizza, but they did a great job with it. The sauce and cheese were so tasty and fresh. It definitely reminded me of eating Italian food when I went a couple of years ago. The olive oil on top of the pizza was a suprisingly nice touch, I can’t really describe what exactly it added to this pizza, but it made its presence. My one complaint was the undercarriage was too dark. Once you got through all of the sauce and cheese and just eating the crust you could taste some burnt parts. That alone is keeping this out of the 8s, because it was definitely excessive. This was a great appetizer to my delicious seafood pasta, and I am proud to say I was in the clean plate club for both.
