Nick & Elena's Pizzeria

When people in “the know” talk about the birthplace of St. Louis style pizza, they talk about North County. Obviously, they didn’t mean Nick or his pal Elena. The whole experience was forgettable. The crust was undercooked- almost dough in its center and zero taste. The sauce, the toppings, the experience- was as mediocre as the decor, location, and garbage appetizers.

Come for the toasted ravioli 10/10. Skip the "pizza".

This is the second time I’ve eaten here. I wanted to give it another shot and it’s just decent. Nothing real stands out. It’s pretty thin but that’s the only thing going for it. Seems like a popular spot though. May try something else next time

Both NY style and StL style are very good. StL style has a nice, thin, bubbly crust, NY crust is thicker. Quality toppings and of course, creamy provel cheese on the StL pie. Mozzarella on the NY. Old school pizza joint that is worth a try!!

Great Stl style. Sauce is unique and crust is very flavorful without being so floury. Good stuff. Can’t wait to try their ny style

Thin crust pie that packs a solid crunch. One thing you’ll remember is the sauce from its uniqueness. The tomato sauce is just very up to par. The cheese comes out super hot and I promise you’ll burn your face off if you don’t give it a little blow blow. I couldn’t see El Prez rating this lower than an 8.5, but then again I haven’t tried a thousand + pizzas like him. Dave if you’re reading this, I know St. Louis doesn’t have the best rep for pizza, but these are real Italians. They got the fucking guinney shit! Next time you’re in town, you should give Nick and Elena’s a shot!
