Pizza Review
With zero expectations coming into the review, I confirmed what I already suspected; this is middle of nowhere, generic, South Jersey subpar football pizza. Surprisingly firm, the texture isn’t terrible; the crust is decently crunchy but has a bit of a stale consistency. The dough doesn’t have a crispy crunch; it gives off reheated vibes, with a dried out texture, minimal char, no flop & a boringly bland flavor. The cheese is also banal & basic; a very standard shredded mozzarella blend, likely of cheaper quality, harboring an unmanageable amount of excess oil. Gushing with grease, the saltiness it produces impedes the taste of the cheese & overpowers any flavor from the scant sauce. Practically a white pie, the sauce volume is minuscule, rendering the flavor MIA. Neither sweet nor savory, the sauce is undetectable with no prevailing taste aside from the oily salty flavor. You might have to request a side of sauce from “Nicky No-Sauce” to provide a modicum of taste. Overall, this is a total waste of time, a disappointing throwaway pie in need of drastic improvements.
