Pizza Review
It's football/party pizza. Not bad. But considering Uncle Giuseppe's Marketplace is in the same shopping center, you're way better off there. Yes, the supermarket sells better pizza than anyone else nearby. I've yet to have Oscar's or Yorktown Pizza but I'm doubting they'll do better. So Nonna's. We got several of them, or pizzerias owned by them, in the Peekskill-Cortlandt-Buchanan-Yortown area. I think they're good satisfactory pizza anyone would like to have at a party. If memory serves I like Peekskill's the best, second to Buchanan's. They're all different, though this was tied for third place. I always review plain slices. But I got this for a TooGoodToGo app order on a discount. Huge kudos to Nonna's for offering this option to help save food waste and get meals cheaper to folk. I got a two pepperoni, two chicken bacon slices, a beef patty, and buffalo chicken roll for $4.99. Couldn't pass it up. My average score on this app is a 6.9. So this isn't a burial of their pizza by any stretch. I'm obvious a pizza fanatic who's now at about 75 reviews. It's just for me the crust is chewy, the cheese to sauce ratio is heavily toward the cheese, it has mediumly chunky sauce, the flavor isn't tart or naturally sweet or well seasoned, it's not particularly crispy or well baked. The adds up to about average for me.
