Nonnies Pizza

If you are looking for a crispy crust, this is definitely not your pizza, lots of flop and very chewy crust. Good balance is sauce, sausage and cheese. Not a bad pizza, but not great either.

Pretty decent Pizza. Got half Pizza, half Sausage. Sausage was amazing and super flavorful, pepperoni was good, but I preferred the sausage for once. Great taste, although next time I’d ask for it well done as it was a little doughy in the center. Overall solid pie with great flavor.

You guys have probably noticed I’ve been MIA for a week or so. Two reasons: I’m going to Mexico in a couple weeks, and most influential is that I’m in the process of moving to the burbs. It’s definitely not as convenient to eat at new spots as the city. So you’ll probably see me post less frequently. Anyway I got to stop in at Nonnie’s for lunch today to grab a slice. It was just ok. Kind of boring. It wasn’t a bad slice, but I think I forgot it about 2 minutes after I ate it, which makes this review difficult to write. Maybe ordering a fresh pizza would’ve been better? Who knows. It was thinnish, decent amount of toppings and cheese. More savory sauce. Just average.

Great taste Crust was crispy

Great thin crust, tangy sauce, perfect blend of spices and the cheese is cooked just right. Like Ledo’s in Countryside-great Chicago thin crust.
