NY Pizza Suprema

This pizza was good! So close to being an 8.1… I’m a sauce guy but the sauce totally reminded me of margherita pizza sauce, just so sweet. The cheese melted off kinda easy, the slice was steaming hot so it’s kinda my fault lol. All around a good pizza, was just so hard to score.

Really good looking pizza and you could tell great ingredients. Just too sweet for me. If you like your pizza sweet this is your spot

They gave it crispy which was great, but had a lot of flop and grease. Lifted it up and it fell in two. Sauce lacked a little seasoning for my taste. Crust was really good.

pretty mid. the chicken is the only thing that makes it decent. marg tastes weird and is overcheesed in that way that only someone succumbing to the average american’s cheese obsessed tastebuds could appreciate

Their sauce is something tasty special

I love this place. It’s the perfect example of a New York slice. Great char on the undercarriage, delicious and crispy crust, sweet and tangy sauce, great ratio of cheese. There was a bit of flop this time around, but it can be ignored. It’s great and worth going to the area for if you want one of the best slices.

Fantastic margarita slice, sausage slice was awesome, cheese slice fell short. Tasty sauce but little bit much on that cheese slice. Won’t be able to get over that marg for a minute tho.

Taste was good! But had a big flop and fell apart. Pizza shown in the picture is two sausage slices! Plus the atmosphere was nuts and crazy busy.

It was a good pie

Sausage slice was decent, 7.3 Fra Diavolo Sicilian was a much better slice, 7.8. Average and rounded up gives a 7.6.

Tried the plain. It was good but nothing crazy special. Good undercarriage

Really good Pizza. Had the New York Vegan style and the mushroom. First is an 8.3 really surprised as I thought it’d lack taste. Second is a 7.8.

Ohohoh we gotta big one here now do we? The Architect and The Bull getting a hot New York pie from NY Pizza Sumprema. This was Anthony Bourdain’s favorite pizza in the world. I can see why because it’s a bit of a bougie slice. A lot going on. It’s a hearty slice, a equal amount of sauce and cheese. And they put a bunch on of both. This is atypical Manhattan pizza. It taste like Manhattan. If this pizza was a person it would make 300 K a year and they would vote for the Dems. Ya know what I mean? Also the place is located in the Mecca of the City. So it’s not a mom and pop store. But the slice has a mom and pop feel to it, you can tell that this was a family recipe. Is it one of the greats? I think it could be but it’s not quite there. But if you brought this over your boys house on a Sunday to watch the games, he would let his kid sister blow ya at the end of the night.
