NYPD Pizza

Yep it’s pizza, nothing special, nothing terrible. We went because Ross was hungry and it reminds me of a foggy day, but still strangely sunny. My rating is generous.

Rookie score but this is exactly a 7 pie. Good sweet sauce, surprising crisp. Very good $3 slice.

Been wanting to try this place out for a minute and it didn’t disappoint. Nice and thin, crispy, proportionate. Really enjoyed it - definitely would go back!

Cheese was good. However, floppy crust and the sauce was meh.

For the longest time, I was on the lookout for a Chicago pie in Philly and lo behold. The Cheese pull is legit. Don’t hold me on the score since this was the first time I have had Chicago style. All I know is One slice is more than enough for dinner.

So I can’t tell you much about this slice other then it was thin and crispy. The cheese and pepperoni slide right off onto the ground when I picked up the slice. Might have been higher might have been lower. I’ll never know.

Solid slice, great service. Lots of flavor in the sauce. Garlic Knots were also solid.

No way you mangia this slice and leave unhappy. In NY, this would be a nice addition to any neighborhood pizza lineup. In philly, a clear standout in center city. Cheesy, oily, and well-built. Pizza chef/owner was an absolute unit too.

Margherita was on point- rich, tons of flavor, perfect crust. The plain was dull. 8.0 on the margherita, 6.9 on the plain. Still solid

Doing some work in Center City and had to get a review in. NYPD Pizza is one of the “better” spots in the area based on the app...but it wasn’t getting rave reviews. Onto the slice.... paper thin, strong flop, and the crust was A1. However...the cheese/sauce combo left me disappointed. It definitely needed more sauce which was a little bland and the cheese was just OK. It’s 100% a NY style slice...but the taste fell short.

Boom! Great flavors , good flop to , threat cheese to sauce ratio. Their sauce is just right not too tangy , a little greasy but still good. Good crunch to that crust. We’re good here people!
