Ocean One Bar & Grille

As a pizza reviewer, you know you made the big time when you could review a pizza place in New Haven Connecticut. I was talking with fellow reviewers and realized during my NY trip coming up it would be 1 and a half hours drive out of my way, so I came to Coral Springs and discovered the next best thing. 1. Some of the highest rated pizza spots are in New Haven. There is Sallys, Frank Pepe and Modern. All with rating in the high 9 catagory. 2.They have 2 brick ovens built right into the walls. It cooks at over 750 degrees. The signature browning is what all New Haven pizza looks like. 3. There is a uniqueness to the flavor of the sauce, which I can't say exactly what it is, but it's very good. Cheese and dough all quite enjoyable. 4. They only sell whole pies starting at about 15 dollar including the tax. 5. My rating 8.4

Pizza was cold , would definitely be in the 7’s if not boxed or cold

Very good Apizza. Worth the 25 min drive for me!

Good crisp on the outside but the center was flopping and messy. Good flavors and a decent pie overall.

Delicious pizza. Nice crisp slight flop, good tangy sauce. This is the margherita with fresh basil. Recommend

Not sure if it’s supposed to have cheese or not. Even tho it does not still great crust and sauce

I liked the crust, sauce was bland and way too much flop. I was hoping for much more. For Coral Springs it’s good- but not as good as Joes or Anthony’s. Would I go back? Yes- very nice employees and atmosphere.

To be fair it was delivered. Was really good, like the sauce, light cheese but quality.. crunchy and chewy thin crust

It’s not bad. Could be crispier which gives it a doughy chew. Sauce is good.

Coal fire, some flop. Nice dark crust and New Haven style. Nothing else like it in Florida. Not Pepe's or Sally's but still very good

Nothing special. Light on the cheese. The dough was soft, their wasn’t ANY crunch I expect from a New Haven style pizza. Wasn’t what I was expecting seeing how busy this place is.

Awesome pizza. 7.8 solid score. If I had to compare it to only Florida pizza I’d put it in the 8s. But in comparison to NY and New haven it’s a 7.8. Staff is great.

Firstly. The place is beautiful. Inside/outside bar area. Would I go there again? 100% but not because the pizza blew my socks off. Was struggling with 6.9 or 7.1 but a little too much burnt flavor. But would do a date night there

Flopping all over the place, fresh ingredients, flavorful sauce crispy thin crust.
