Does anyone remember Topps baseball or football cards from the late 80s / early 90s and some of the cards of new players would say “Topps Super Rookie” on the card? This pizza is a “super rookie”. It definitely has a lot of potential. Cons: too “doughy” and has the manufactured pattern texture on the bottom of the crust. Not enough sauce. Chain restaurant, albeit a quality one. Pros: I ordered a cheese pie with added ricotta, Parmesan and fresh basil— the flavors of all cheeses were on point, especially the Parmesan. Would’ve like to taste the basil more but that is only because I ordered a pie that has three cheeses on it, so that’s on me. The sauce was actually decent. I’m a New York guy and was trying to find anything to put this pie down.......I was hard pressed to do so. I’ll definitely be ordering again and trying new options from this place. I like it, but I may love it in the future......like a “Topps Super Rookie”!
