Old Dominion Pizza Company

Great oily edge on the grandma style, but overall a little lacking on flavor beyond grease. Margharita was fine but far on the dry side. Ingredients were decent, execution was solid, but nothing to write home about. (Reviewing the Old Town Fairfax location since it won’t let me properly do it)

Had the grandma slices, and they were solid.

BEFORE READING KEEP IN MIND MY GRADING IS TUFF! pizza lover or not this pizza “slices” other pizza places in the DMV area. Old Dominion pizza is nice on the undercarriage so to speak, the dough is soft and light like a nice pillow, and the sauce is so sweet and snaps back with a lovely Italian taste that takes you right back to Italy. The cheese perfectly melted on top this pizza takes the cake, this is history in the baking. So i ask you, if you’re in the DMV area give this pizza place a try and you won’t have a cheesy day!

My go to pizza. The grandma style (pan pizza/square cut) is our favorite. Dough is fluffy an nice and crispy on the edges. The ratio of cheese to sauce to dough is also very good and the sauce is full of flavor imo.

One bite, everyone knows the rules. First review at a new local pizza shop @olddominionpizza This location was previously “Upper Crust Pizzaria”, not sure what happened but one day they just closed down...... then BOOM the creation of Old Dominion Pizza Co. Honestly, I was expecting a better slice. Mild flop for the first slice but the second slice was like the pizza had too much whisky, flop all over, pushing rope. Crust was okay. Sauce had barely any flavor. Could be a good drunk pizza. That’s a review. @pizzapatel
