Before I start my review I just have to get up on my soapbox and educate some of you reviewers. 1- if you get pepperoni on your pizza it’s going to be GREASY!
2- for idiots that don’t know pizza sauce is not cooked, they are raw tomatoes with a little seasoning (this isn’t marinara that was cooked for 3 hours), the tomatoes are the star of the flavor which is why they have a tangy flavor.
3- if you get lots of toppings on your pie it is going to FLOP, a thin crust can’t hold that weight plus the moisture they give off.
4- and lastly for the people who think the cheese is salty…watch a video of how mozzarella and/or provolone is made…lots of salt!
Now my review, loved the 24” pie slices, it’s what I did with my pizzerias for 20 years, it really gives you that old time NY slice feel. My only real complaint was that I ask him to make them well done for a good crisp but that didn’t happen. Everything else was great and if they had hit that milestone my score would have been a 8.3, but I settled for 7.9…definitely worth the trip when in Vegas!
