Old Town Pizza

Stopped for a slice after Jerry’s AAU game. Old town pizza. $5.50 for this slice. Very thick and filling. Unspectacular but yet very solid. Even the heavy crust and a flaky feel to it that was a little appealing. A good spot for a quick slice for lunch or anytime. Hot n fresh. I think this place is underscored to be honest. A good low to mid 7 level slice.

First ever review. Stopped by in town for business on way back to hotel. Thin crust half sausage half pepperoni, well done. Must say - EXCELLENT!

A little doughy but better than I thought based on the reviews I’ve seen.

Good sauce but overall very average. Breading on the double dough was a step below Texas toast.

Tastes like pizza at a high school basketball game

Stopped in for a slice during the week. I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious and fresh it was. This is a cheese lovers pizza. Slices are tricky in the burbs as they don't turn as fast. This usually results in a soggy crust where the sauce gets lost into the dough. The double dough crust is always an awesome touch and makes any pizza better. The dough was a flour based crust that had a nice crispy bottom and a soft bite. It's on the thicker side of a traditional NY style. This is definitely a Chicago slice. This is gem in the burbs. I will be back to grab some slices soon!
