Old Town Pizza

Stopped in for a slice during the week. I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious and fresh it was. This is a cheese lovers pizza. Slices are tricky in the burbs as they don't turn as fast. This usually results in a soggy crust where the sauce gets lost into the dough. The double dough crust is always an awesome touch and makes any pizza better. The dough was a flour based crust that had a nice crispy bottom and a soft bite. It's on the thicker side of a traditional NY style. This is definitely a Chicago slice. This is gem in the burbs. I will be back to grab some slices soon!
