One Guy: Cheese was pretty solid, topping placement was erratic and wild, crust was simultaneously too thick and too hard, too little sauce. Most expensive pizza I’ve ever ordered. Very disappointing since this and capital are the two all the “locals” recommend, but I guess that shows to never trust undergrads.

Solid crust, hardly any flop...little greasy though but great flavor.

Good slice especially when it’s hot, but it’s on the greasy side. Floppy and not a lot of sauce. A little bland

Great bang for your buck pizza, large filling slices with solid breaded crust. Only downside is pizzas can get a bit greasy and messy sometimes, but a very good slice otherwise. Perfect college pizza

Moved to Texas from the east coast about 2 years ago. This is BY FAR the best pizza I have had in the State of Texas. Growing up near New York, I was spoiled with great pizza. This is the first place I have found down south that is actually on par with that. Used a perfect amount of sauce, the crust had a good amount of crunch while still remaining fluffy, and even better, it was way more filling than expected. I would only recommend making the crust a little smaller but since the slices are huge it wasn’t really a big problem. Great pizza!

Probably the most reviewed place on this app in all of West Texas. Makes sense, it’s right across the street from Texas Tech. Cool place, quick and cheap, almost no Red Raider flop, pretty good pizza by the slice

I’m from Chicago, and this is good pizza for a college town like Lubbock. Right amount of sauce, people are complaining about the crust but I think it’s great, gives you something to hold it by, the cheese is light, as it should be, and the pepperoni is all over, so I give it an 8.1

Flavor was okay on the slices. Too much crust. The calzone was good. The sign outside says “best in Texas.” I’m not sure if they are referring to the calzone or the pizza, but Texas is a massive state so that is a pretty bold statement
